The Silicon Valley Pig Jig was started in San Jose in 2018 by a group of local and dedicated friends who wanted to make a difference in the lives of those that suffer from Nephrotic Syndrome. See you next year on October 7th, 2023!
Silicon Valley Pig Jig
Silicon Valley Pig Jig 2022 will take place at Excite Ball Park on Saturday, October 1st. This year’s event will be private. Corporate sponsors and friends will still enjoy live and local music, line dancing, family friendly activities and games in a tailgate like environment. Sponsors will be able to participate in a friendly amateur BBQ competition and have a chance to win accolades and bragging rights in four categories (ribs, tri-tip, wildcard and best tailgate)! BBQ entries are judged by the California BBQ Association.
All proceeds benefit NephCure Kidney International whose mission is to accelerate research for effective treatments for rare forms of Nephrotic Syndrome, and to provide education and support that will improve the lives of those affected by these protein-spilling kidney diseases.
