SILICON VALLEY PIG JIG RAISED OVER $350K FOR NEPHCURE KIDNEY INTERNATIONAL
The second annual Silicon Valley Pig Jig which took place on Saturday, October 5th 2019 at Excite Ballpark was a huge success! Live music, line dancing, beer garden, craft vendors and kids zone kept attendees busy while corporate sponsors participated in a friendly amateur BBQ competition. All proceeds raised benefit NephCure Kidney International.

- 28 patient families attended – Two families from Chicago and one from Colorado Springs.
- 28 teams participated in the BBQ competition
- Approximately 150 volunteers to ensure that the event ran smoothly

2019 BBQ Results
The BBQ pit was a happening place on Saturday, October 5th as teams competed in a friendly BBQ competition. Team members, guests and VIP attendees were able to visit the pit and watch the teams in action.
Teams competed in four categories – tri-tip, ribs, wild card and overall. Entries were judged by a panel of California BBQ Association judges.
