BBQ Competition

The Silicon Valley Pig Jig corporate BBQ competition is an opportunity for Bay Area businesses to come together for a day of team building and friendly competition against other businesses. Teams may invite guests to join their cooking area (a BBQ pit pass, or VIP ticket is required to gain entry into the BBQ pit). Teams will compete in four categories (tri-tip, ribs, wild card and overall) to wow our celebrity judges and win bragging rights in the BBQ pit.

ARE YOU THE MASTER OF YOUR GRILL?

Prove it by competing in this friendly, amateur BBQ competition with a chance to win trophies, and if you really know your stuff, the “Overall Grand Champion” bragging rights for one year. BBQ teams consists of two cooks and can participate in one or all categories, including tri-tip, ribs and the wild card (can be anything edible). All entries are judged by our qualified judges and the results are announced immediately prior to the Headlining Musical Act.

Pre-registration is required and space is limited.  All Sponsors at the BBQ Booster Sponsor $2,500 level and up are eligible to participate in the BBQ Competition while space lasts. All teams must provide their own equipment and supplies, electricity will be provided if needed. Contestants must adhere to all electrical, fire and City codes. No open fires are allowed.
